Genotype–Environment Interactions for Tree Growth and Leaf Phytochemical Content of Cyclocarya paliurus (Batal.) Iljinskaja

Cyclocarya paliurus (Batal.) Iljinskaja, as a woody tree species, has various health-promoting phytochemicals and is commonly used in tea production China. A field trial for C. was conducted at two typical sites to evaluate genotype × environmental interaction (GEI) effects identify the stability adaptability of 13 families. The main environment (GGE) were analyze GEI height, diameter breast height (DBH), leaf flavonoid triterpenoid contents. Two-way analysis variance indicated that growth phytochemical contents mainly affected by GEI. Based on results GGE, JH1 family had high mean values total accumulations, while KM4 exhibited means DBH growth, well medium content. Pearson’s correlation annual significantly positively correlated with content when all data families used. Our suggest should be extended superior flavonoids triterpenoids leaves, could spread timber or production. This study provides useful information selection genotypes target cultivation strategies establishing oriented plantations.
